Select time interval:
ROI: ROI (Return on Investment) is calculated by dividing the final value of an investment by its initial value and expressing it as a percentage. The formula is: ROI = [(Final Value - Initial Investment) / Initial Investment] × 100.
CAGR: CAGR (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) measures the average annual growth rate of an investment over a specified period. The formula is: CAGR = {[(Final Value / Initial Value)^(1 / Number of Years)] - 1} × 100.
Moving average: The default chart is shown as a 10-day moving average to smooth out irregularities in the series, but you can change it to any value you want, including '1' (i.e., the raw time series), in the box at the bottom-left corner.
Log scale: Negative values do not have a correspondence in log space, so the chart may appear broken for periods when Bitcoin returns were negative (so far, only in the 1- and 2-year windows).
